From flying children as outpatients to our Shrine Childrens Hospitals, to flying medical teams to outreach clinics; from flying general aviation aircraft, to flying donated corporate aircraft......Shrine aviation has an untold story.

The story begins with a need - the need to get children to our hospitals via (according to the D.O.T's data) the safest and most expedient form of transportation available........AIRPLANES!! Our story is made up of thousands of hours of donated pilot time, flying aircraft millions of miles on behalf of the Shrine. We have flown THOUSANDS of children in excess of THREE MILLION miles without incurring a single accident causing harm to a passenger!
